01

The message

Why Thrivewell was established.

Every person deserves access to professional guidance, compassionate support and opportunities to grow.

Throughout my academic journey, professional training, leadership and service, I have listened to students managing academic pressure, young people searching for direction, families navigating difficult moments and individuals carrying emotional burdens in silence.

Those experiences shaped the vision that became Thrivewell Counselling Foundation: a professional home where counselling, education, leadership and community development work together to help people make informed decisions, build resilience and move toward healthier lives.

We believe counselling is not only a response to crisis. Early guidance can strengthen relationships, widen opportunity and help individuals and communities approach change with greater clarity.

Our vision extends beyond the counselling room—to educational success, empowered young people, stronger families and partnerships that support lasting progress.

Responsible innovation is also part of that work. Technology should not replace the human connection at the heart of counselling; it should improve access, strengthen service delivery and help more people find an appropriate route to support.

Leadership has taught me that influence is measured through service. Thrivewell will continue to build through listening, ethical practice, collaboration and accountability—carefully, openly and with respect for the people we serve.

If you are seeking support, exploring a partnership or considering how to contribute, you are welcome to begin with a conversation.

With sincere appreciation,

Baribor, Victor Burabari (MCASSON)
